While it's been a few years now, I can still remember the excitement of getting my very first media player. From finding it on an overseas website, through to signing for the Fedex package, each step along the way was filled with nervous anticipation of connecting this little black box to my TV and watching a movie. I can remember the fun in showing every one of my friends and watching the expressions on thier faces when it was turned on.

A few weeks later after some quick lessons in international banking and freight,my first shipment of Modix Players from South Korea were here. With a shiny new website, some street press advertsing and full of enthusiasm Modix Sales Australia was born.

What initially started out as an second income stream from a shared warehouse with 1 single product, soon became a full time obsession with over 100 products and growing every single day.


To speak to a real person that knows about media players, that has a genuine commitment in helping you. As the owner of the business (as well as the packing guy, the cleaner and everything else in between) you can be assured that the buck stops with me. I may have convict ancestors but I'm as Aussie as a snag sanga.

A competative yet realistic price. Whilst I try to be competitive on price, at some point I need to make a profit and its my intention to be here in not just 1 years time but 5 years, 10 years or as long as this technology demands. Unless your happy and buy a product I don't eat. Pretty simple.

I will even throw in some quality products, a timely order despatch, reliable delivery, Australian Warranty and a bit of back up service as well.

Is a small company trying to fit into a big companies shoes and parading as something which its not. I like small companies. I like to deal with the decision makers. You won't get a junior clerk here saying it's not in their job description to answer your call. Speak directly to the boss.

Unanswered emails or phone calls that are never returned.....unless it's Xmas time and the priority is getting the orders out, then forgive me for taking a little extra time.

Grumpy service. But just let me know if you do and I can put you in touch with some major price discounters.
If you want a dirt cheap price, then how many thousand do you want, what features don't you require and cash up front please. Remember if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

Unlike some of my competitors you won't find me on Whirlpool or AV forums posing under different names against their rules and parading as an average person making recommendations.

You also won't find me taking out the HDMI cable in a media player when its supplied with one, lowering the price to appear cheaper than me then trying to charge you for the cable that you should have got and have paid for anyway.

Nor will you find me deliberately offering a pre-sale at a very low price with the intention of trying to switch your order to another alternative brand when the original one you ordered apparently never turns up.

You won't find me keyword spamming in so called support forums purely to drive traffic to my site so I can sell you a so-called better product that simply isn't.

Also you won't find me giving any shopping comparison site an incorrectly priced lower feed to make it appear I am the cheapest then when you click the link find the price is higher than the shopping cart site. Some competitors feel they are above the law!

My website prices are totally transparent plus you don't need to subscribe to a so-called newsletter simply to get a price.

It's also nice to know my competitors are watching my website and copying me on a daily basis. It simply reminds me that I am still Number 1 when it comes to Media Players. They even like to match my categories, my colours and some have even infringed on my registered trademark.

These are some of the reasons I don't price match competitors however if you would prefer to deal with these types of unethical businesses then you are more than welcome.
